Areas of Concern
Fine Lines & Wrinkles
Fine lines and wrinkles are caused by a combination of intrinsic (natural aging) and extrinsic (environmental/lifestyle) factors. Natural factors include aging, loss of bone, genetics, and decreased skin cell turnover. Environmental causes include sun exposure, dehydration, poor diet, environmental pollutants, lack of sleep, stress, smoking, and alcohol.
Volume Loss
Volume loss is due to collagen and elastin decline starting at the age of 25, fat pad redistribution, bone resorption, muscle atrophy, sun damage, smoking, diet, and weight fluctuations. Volume loss can typically be seen in the form of under-eye hollows, decreased jawline definition, sunken temples, flattened cheeks, nasolabial folds, jowls, and marionette lines.

Melasma
Melasma is a type of hyperpigmentation caused by an overproduction of melanin (skin pigment), leading to dark patches or discoloration, typically on the face. It’s caused by hormonal factors such as pregnancy, birth control, and thyroid disorders but can also be triggered by environmental factors such as UV radiation, heat, and even blue light from screens!
Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness, visible blood vessels, and facial flare-ups, especially on the cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. While the exact cause is unknown, it’s believed to be due to a combination of genetics, immune system response, and environmental triggers.

Excessive Sweating
Hyperhidrosis is a condition that causes excessive sweating beyond what’s needed for body temperature regulation. It can affect the underarms, hands, feet, face, and other areas, often leading to discomfort and embarrassment.

Cellulite
Cellulite is the dimpled, uneven skin texture that commonly appears on the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, and arms. It’s caused by fat pushing through the connective tissue beneath the skin, creating a lumpy appearance. While cellulite is completely normal and common (affecting up to 90% of women), several factors contribute to its development.
Tattoo Reduction
Active Acne
Acne occurs when pores become clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria, leading to inflammation and breakouts. Several factors contribute to acne, from hormones to lifestyle choices.

Dullness
Skin dullness occurs when the skin lacks radiance, brightness, and an even tone. It’s often caused by a combination of lifestyle, environmental, and biological factors that slow down skin renewal and reduce hydration.
